Dr. Megha Bassi, a proud Texas Longhorn, has a deep appreciation for all things Austin. Originally from Northern California, she moved with her family to the Houston area before starting high school. Dr. Bassi earned her degree from The University of Texas at Austin and then attended The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. After completing her education, she returned to Austin, where she has been practicing ever since. Dr. Bassi and her husband are drawn to Austin‘s vibrant culture and the wide variety of experiences it offers. She enjoys spending her weekends outdoors and discovering new dining spots.

Dr. Taylor Nguyen hails from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is a graduate of the OU College of Dentistry. While she is a Sooner at heart, she is proud to now call Texas her home. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association for Women Dentists, and she has received the International College of Dentists Leadership Award. In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys attending workout or dance classes downtown, cheering on her team at OU football games, spending time with her fourteen nieces and nephews, and playing with her Great Dane, Apollo.

Dr. Chris Mun
DDS
Dr. Chris Mun (pronounced like Fun but with an “M”) is a father of two amusing kids named Elia and Ilan (similar to Elon Musk but with an “I”). His main aspirations include gaining viral fame on TikTok and making an appearance on the Bachelor in Paradise…just kidding. In his free time, Chris enjoys working out at the gym and going on long runs, especially after indulging in unhealthy eating habits for weeks and noticing his clothes fitting tightly.
In all seriousness, Dr. Mun is deeply dedicated to his profession and caring for others. He lives by the motto “people first”. He graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, TX, and performed his inaugural implant placement in 2011, now completing hundreds of implants monthly. Driven by a commitment to excellence, he devotes countless hours to continuing education each year, always striving to incorporate cutting-edge dental technology to enhance patient experiences.
Dr. Mun maintains active membership in both the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
